Payments and refunds

What you buy

NeonSong sells 音符 (credits) in prepaid packs. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

• Credits pay for generating songs (300 for a round of two candidates) and for commercial licenses (2,000 per version).
• Any top-up also unlocks downloads of every song you make, for personal use.
• Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details never reach us.

Refunds

• Within 14 days of a purchase, you can ask for a refund of the credits from it that you haven't used. We refund the unused share of what you paid: with 4,000 of a 5,000-credit pack unused, you get back 80% of the price.
• To ask, email support@neonsong.ai from the address you sign in with, and tell us the date of the purchase. The refund goes back to the way you paid.
• Credits you have spent and commercial licenses you have bought are not refundable.
• If a song fails to generate, its credits come back to your account automatically when the job ends.
• Refunded credits are removed from your account. Refunding a whole purchase also ends the download unlock if it was your only purchase.

Disputes

• If a charge looks wrong, please email us first; we can usually fix it the same day.
• If you dispute a payment with your bank, the credits from that payment are removed while the dispute is open, even if that leaves your balance below zero. If the dispute closes in our favour, they come back.

Free credits

New accounts get 1,000 free 音符, once per person. They pay for generating only, not for licenses, and they have no cash value: they can't be refunded, sold or transferred. We may remove them from accounts opened to collect them more than once.
